Labor Day Inspiration

Writing for The Immeasurables has been kind of tricky this last week. Been stuck on a few details and needed some type of inspiration. So I finally got around to seeing X-men: First Class today and it was awesome! I have to admit it wasn't very accurate with the comic books, but I didn't care! This movie is THAT good!

Magneto is in rare form in this film: appropriately powerful AND cold blooded!

From the production (this is a period piece and the sets and costume are perfect!), to the acting (some of the best work I've seen in a long time), to the general feel (it didn't seem like a comic book movie at all but rather a 60's spy film).

Anyway, I'm all amped up to jump back into the story, not to mention Patrick (illustrator for The Immeasurables) is reading what I have done of a first draft so far. And he seems excited, so I'm excited.

Be expecting a little more artwork soon. I'm not sure how to market a comic book before it's done but I am trying! Haha.
